Port Solent Festival of Power

This year's Festival of Power will be held at Port Solent Marina– running from the 30th May – 1st June 2008.  The Show is open daily from 10am-5pm with free entry and will host a wide selection of boats including examples from Bavaria Motor Boats, Sealine Motor Boats, Beneteau Power range, Silverton 45, Convertible, Trawlers, Arvors Powerboats, Fairlines, Atlantis, Gobbi, Azimut, Rib-X and Bombard.

For the first time at the Festival, a Fountain 48 Express Cruiser will be showcased.  This high performance, triple engined model can reach speeds of up to 60mph and combines speed with both comfort and luxury by offering two double berths and deluxe upholstery and fittings throughout the saloon.   Another eye-catching model on show at the Festival is the Silverton.  The Silverton Range of American Boats is new to the UK the Festival offers a fantastic opportunity to view the 45 Convertible on the water.

The show is to be the largest gathering of powerboats in the South before the Southampton International Boat Show and provides visitors with the perfect opportunity to make comparisons on the water.  Dan Hughes, Port Solent Marina Manager commented, "Premier is delighted to be hosting the Festival of Power for a second year and is looking forward to it being bigger and better than last.   The festival provides a great chance to come and view the range of powerboats on the water and also gives visitors the chance to step onboard".
