Yacht charter company Fairview Sailing has announced the signing of a £1million contract for a fleet of new Bénéteau yachts on the first day of the Southampton Boat Show. The signing marks the first step of a long-term partnership with leading boat retailer Ancasta International Boat Sales.
The contract will result in the Fairview fleet of Bénéteau Oceanis 37s growing to an impressive 20 boats over the next few seasons, with the first eight boats delivered in time for the start of the 2009 season. This marks the beginning of Fairview’s fleet replacement programme with Ancasta.
As a result of the partnership with Ancasta, Fairview can now offer anyone purchasing a boat through the Ancasta network a market leading yacht management service.
Paul Webb of Fairview said: “This partnership with Ancasta is very exciting and reflects our confidence and expertise in the market. Our confidence is further demonstrated by our £1million investment into new Bénéteau yachts.”
Ancasta Sales Director, Ashley Overton says, “We are delighted that the favourable experience of Fairview, which is the South Coast’s leading charter business, has led them to select the Oceanis 37 as the best all-rounder in terms of performance, quality and value for their fleet. The timing of this deal gives us great confidence that any feeling of depression in the market will be short-lived.
“New Bénéteau boat owners will benefit from this partnership with a bona-fide guaranteed income every month and cost free ownership. It represents a very exciting and reassuring package for those interested in buying a new Bénéteau in this current climate.”
